Palava is an independent fashion label that dares to do things differently.
During the summer of 2022, I embedded myself within Palava's small, passionate team, diving into every facet of their business. I aimed to help them distil and clarify their brand values, ensuring their communication authentically reflected their identity. This went beyond just the words—it was about creating a cohesive aesthetic and tone across their social media presence and other visual touchpoints, crucial for a brand with Palava's unique spirit.
I facilitated two in-depth brand workshops to help develop a new communications strategy encapsulating their values. Collaborating with the marketing team, I refined their D2C and digital advertising strategy, ensuring their message resonated seamlessly across channels and reflected the distinctive visuals that set them apart.
Bryony (their founder, designer and the brand's heart) has pushed the business forward in ever-creative and groundbreaking ways in the last couple of years with innovative developments such as using sustainable fabrics crafted from traditional methods. These ongoing efforts ensure Palava stays at the forefront of sustainable fashion as well as its heritage and values.
